The Developer Awakening
Self-Taught
What started as curiosity quickly became a passion. Taught myself with the MERN stack, Next.js, AI integration and modern web experiences. My journey has only grown from there.
B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering
Guru Nanak Institute of Technology
Pursuing Computer Science while simultaneously building real-world projects. Spent the entire first year learning React, Node.js, and modern web tooling inside out. By second year, started building real full-stack projects from scratch.
Higher Secondary — CBSE (80%)
St. Mary's Arcadian School
Completed Class XI–XII under the CBSE board. Strengthened logical thinking and analytical skills that later became the foundation for problem-solving in software engineering.
Secondary School — ICSE (91%)
Convent of Jesus and Mary School
Scored 91% in ICSE board exams. Developed a disciplined work ethic and early curiosity for computers that would eventually lead to a career in tech.
Kind Words
Feedback from collaborators and teammates I've had the pleasure of working with.
“Worked with Arka during SIH '25 and honestly he carried the frontend. We were all panicking at 3 am trying to fix API calls and he just sat there, debugged everything, and got the whole thing running. Not the loudest person in the room but definitely the most reliable.”
Arpan Paul
Hackathon Teammate, SIH '25
“Arka helped me debug a WebSocket issue in my chat app that I'd been stuck on for like two days. He jumped on a call, found the problem in 20 minutes, and then refactored half the server code because — his words — 'it was bothering him.' Didn't even ask for anything in return. Solid guy to have in your corner when things break.”
Nisha Agarwal
Junior, JISU IT
“Had Arka in my group for a 3rd sem project. He didn't just do the frontend — he set up the Express backend, connected MongoDB, wrote the API routes, and then built the entire UI on top of it. The rest of us were still reading docs while he had a working prototype running. Genuinely full-stack, not just someone who says it on their resume.”
Adrija Das
Batchmate, GNIT CSE
“Arka has been my close friend since school. Even now in college, if I can't figure something out, I just text him and he always explains things in a way that actually makes sense. He never makes me feel dumb, no matter how basic my questions are!”
Sahil Mondal
School Friend and Batchmate, NiT IT
“Asked Arka to help me with my portfolio before placement season and he literally rebuilt the whole thing in Next.js overnight. I just wanted a few fixes but he added animations, proper SEO tags, a contact form — stuff I didn't even know I needed. He gets way too invested in other people's projects honestly, but I'm not complaining.”
